WHY IS OUR COOKIE NOT FLAT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE?

Our cookies started with a 14 year old recipe that had in it Nuts, cereal, etc. In 2006 we decide to test the recipe it went over very well however, when we were selling these cookies people would say "I love the way your cookies look and I would love to buy them but I am allergic to nuts. We decided in March of 2007 to eliminate all nuts from the cookies.

GUESS WHAT!! When we did that we didn't realize gravity would work against us "LOL!" The cookies without the nuts were absolutely NOTHING!! They were flat and empty. So, we revamp the recipe starting from scratch, we tried different dried fruits, chocolates etc. All went well but we still had another obstacle to overcome what if I got ill and my husband was not able to help or whatever I would need others to help me to put the cookies on the tray but if they make a mistake while putting the cookies on the tray, we know it shouldn't affect them dramatically.

So, what did we do? We Scooped out the cookies on the tray instead and this allowed us to work faster, more efficiently and the consistency was great. It's amazing how things can change with just a inkling of an idea.

****I LOVE LIFE!!! Has a mother of two kids a boy 3 yrs.old and girl 9 yrs.old, who loves cookies and doesn't mind helping out now and again. My son he's the chief inspector and cookie lover as well. I have been baking since I was 9 yrs.old and my grandmother would get upset with me because I would always mess up her kitchen with flour and today that passion of baking still carries on with me.

Oh! we have been on a journey I like to say. Many people out there today have a skill, a craft whether it's writing, creating a unique bag, making a pretty dress, baking the best pound cake or the best cookies that's been around in the family for decades we all want the same thing. That is, to take our passion well-- mostly our hobby, and translate it into a liveable breathable thing. Well, thats what we did.

We started out making Cupcakes, Brownies, Lemon bars, Sugar Free Cakes, and Handmade Gourmet Chocolates. However, has time went on we realized that although we had all these other products that were just so great the cookies were phenomenal they were DIFFERENT! and they were out selling our other gourmet products so we revamp our product offers and is now offering to you a line of cookies that are just unique in taste and quality.
